On Friday, July 25th at 5:00 PM, we’re turning Mixo Indy HQ into a tropical escape for one very fun evening.
Our Classic Tiki Class is a 2.5-hour hands-on cocktail workshop designed for anyone who loves great drinks, playful flavors, and learning something new. This isn’t a passive tasting or a watch-from-your-seat demo. You’ll be behind the bar with us, building each cocktail yourself while learning the techniques, ingredients, and flavor logic that make tiki cocktails so endlessly fun. What we’re making:
Dragonfruit Mai Tai
A bold, vibrant take on the legendary Mai Tai. Electric pink thanks to dragonfruit, but otherwise deeply respectful to the original formula. Expect bright citrus, rich complexity, and exactly the kind of drink that makes you want to immediately book a beach trip.
Tradewinds
Soft, lush, and tropical in all the right ways. Coconut, vanilla, apricot, and warm baking spice come together in a cocktail that feels equal parts tiki bar and cozy escape.
And because we love a good take-home moment, each guest will leave with:
• A packet of dehydrated lime wheels
• A dropper bottle of saline solution for your home bar
• Recipe cards from class
• Mixo Indy educational materials
